Caffeine in Green Tea

Caffeine in green tea is the downside to drinking this antioxidant potent drink for many people.

It has been shown that there are many people who are addicted to caffeine or have adverse effects from it. This can also happen if you drink a lot of green tea and you are allergic to such stimulants.

It doesn't seem fair that such a health promoting product also has ingredients that do not promote health. This is one of the reasons that I don't drink green tea - simply because of the caffeine.

Some of the adverse effects of caffeine have been insomnia, headaches, sickness and general lethargy.

However, I have some great news for you people. You can imagine how excited I was when my friend introduced me to a decaffeinated way of taking green tea. O course I wanted to take it as I had heard of all the health benefits that I could get from it but at the same time I didn't want to supply my body with an addictive stimulant.

Anyway she told me that she had just started taking these supplements that are full of many different extracts. She said that each one of the extracts had been chosen for their particular properties and because they all worked in synergy with each other.

I knew that if something worked synergistically it meant that it had a much stronger foundation. So I asked her if I could try one and from that day I was definitely hooked.

I knew that there was no caffeine in green tea, or at least the green tea that I was taking. To be decaffeinated the leaves of the plant used for green tea had been selectively steamed to avoid any oxidation.

I am now an avid advocate for taking your green tea in a supplement form. I know that I can drink many other herb teas that are caffeine free if I want a drink.

Caffeine in green tea? No. Instead there are many other extracts (also caffeine free) that supply me with my daily vitamins, minerals, and enzymes.

Of course I still eat fruits and vegetables to give myself an even greater protection against disease but the vitamins and minerals are greatly depleted from our food source to what they were 30-40 years ago.

I firmly believe that we cannot get all the benefits that we need from one source and that is another reason that I like the supplements that I take because they are made up from many different sources.

Caffeine in green tea can be a thing of the past for you too. To find out more information and see which supplements I recommend visit my website at www.total-supplements.info today.
